Ezion Fair Baptist Church Mortgage Burning

Dear Potential See Partner,

Ezion Fair Baptist Church was founded in 1919 in the Southbridge Section of City in Wilmington, DE with the main mission and objective to bringing “Salvation and Restoration” to humanity. In our 103 years of existence , we have only had 4 Pastors-leaders with a 26 year average tenure. During our initial 88 years we focused on the “Salvation” aspect of our mission; growing a congregation from an initial 4 found membership, to a membership roll of over 3,000 congregants. In 2008, we reevaluated our mission and objectives to begin in addition to salvation but also addressing restoration by for a 501C3 organization. In the last 14 years, we have been shedding light and offering a common solution to violence, homelessness, drugs, poverty, lack of educational resources and community apathy.This success includes;

 2009 Building a 20,000 sq ft Worship Center

 This worship center features a sanctuary, classrooms, conference room, multipurpose room, commercial kitchen, offices, stage with dressing rooms, a recording studio and multi media booth.

This facility features a full multipurpose 15,000 sq ft gymnasium (3 lane indoor track, basketball courts, volleyball, and soccer) a weight and conditioning room, locker and showers, dance room, adult and children’s classrooms, and prep-room and administrative offices.

 Through our vision we have successfully be able to offer the community; Affordable 5 Star Early Childhcare; Heart-to-Hands meals and toiletries for the homeless on wheels, Free Basketball, Track and Field, Cheerleading, Dance for male and females, Fine Arts. We are just under 1 million dollars away from burning our 3.5 million dollar mortgage. We are asking for you help. We are convinced that paying off our mortgage will strength our ability to offer more to those who are in need. Our mission is to touch the world with love, communicate the positive power of Jesus Christ to our generation by: 1. Finding needs and meeting them; 2. Finding hurts and healing them, and 3. Finding problems and solving them. With your help as a Legacy Seed Partner we will be able to continue to purse our mission.
